So as a relative newbie to this thread, do I take it that OEP was not just a one off and this kind of thing happens quite often? I know 1p items turn up every so often (I used to find out after it had been on the news and therefore everything had gone!) but a double discount glitch and getting paid to take items away, well that's just something else!
Was starting to think that there was a koko/mingles drought on the south coast as hadn't seen any anywhere, but actually finally found some pink koko at Tesco Extra W3st Du77ingt@n this afternoon :T
Also found 4 clipstrips of Dorman's spicy peanuts, should have seen the young lads face at checkout when I put 3 (left one for someone else to have
) full strips on (36 packets) and told him they should scan at 1p each:rotfl:. We don't really like them but as these ones are actually in date (to June 12) I'm going to use them for my big party next year.
I also finally got a goody bag from the Pharmacy, had asked on 3 previous occassions. And some RTC hot chicken, 1 of which scanned at full price so got a DTD and therefore it cost 20p! Got pilgrims cheese 3 for £3, but also had a £3 off pilgrims cheese from Mr T so was free :j (please don't tell me there's another printable voucher as until :santa2: calls I don't have a working printer)
Think I spent more time scanning items on self scanner than anything else (we were there 2 hours!!) Coco pops moon and stars scanning at full price and also found some of the descaler packets on the RTC shelf and they have had £1+ yellow labels on :eek::eek: these are the same ones I got for 1p last week.
No luck with any of the cheaper electricals I saw mentioned this morning, could have done with a cheap docking speaker, oh well, maybe next time...0 -
