I don't think it's daft at all, infact quite the opposite. Sounds like you're a great parent
P.S I am NOT saying that anyone that drinks isn't a good parent!! So please don't think that:o'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
Sorry just noticed this, but I don't drink either.:D Not that I can't or anything, I just, and too much of a control freak I guess. I like to know that if something happens with my kids at night I am able to do something about it. Besides, it cost too much. When I chose to drink I drink like a fish, swear like a sailor and do things that would make a wh*re blush, so I think it is better to be something I leave alone most of the time. Once in a blue moon I will have the odd drink but it has gotta be either raspberry absolut and coke or straight Smirnoff and water with a squeeze of lime or lemon. ( I am a bit of a vodka snob when I do drink)
I haven't had a drink in 9 months but before that it was about 5 years.
I do though like to watch others it's hilarious. And I like to be part of the party and drinking really doesn't have to be part of it for me to make a t*t of myself.
You think Smirnoff and Absolut is posh?
You obviously haven't tried Russian Standard. Even the cheapest version is miles better than Smirnoff! I've got a bottle of the very expensive (£50) Russian Standard but I can't bring myself to open it just to pour down my throat!0 -

TBH if I had kids I'd be the same, though I'm a born worrier, and also don't care to drink so I wouldn't miss it!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
