can i ditto that? the roads were manic today.

TBH the roads here were no worse than on a usual Saturday, it was Tesco that was the "going home and staying there" factor! We have a one-way system around our Extra car park and a ridiculous parking assistant basically directing everyone the wrong way around it! There was a parking space I'd had to abandon and drive back around because he insisted on trying to reverse someone out into me while I was trying to reverse into the space, I came back around 2 seconds later only to find two cars coming up the wrong way trying to nick it. I basically honked my horn and shouted "hey!!!", and took my space much to his chagrin. The other drivers didn't look too happy either!

I reported to CS while in there that there wasn't a single disabled space left and I knew at least three weren't disabled as they wouldn't have trawled the normal spaces behind me or in front of me first, if they were truly blue-badged, they would have gone straight to the disabled spaces. I HATE people who park in disabled spaces, same as parking on the hatched areas meaning no-one can see if cars are coming, if you do either you're a very selfish and lazy person in my view!

Add to that that I just wanted a few bits, it was busy but EVERYONE was moving sooooooo slowly, I kept wanting to push everyone out of my way!!

Just wondered if there was anything still working as of this evening? Or any good deals going on! Challenging week for us this week - feeding the family (2 adults, 2 teens and 4 smaller kids) on £20. Have a bag of spuds to get going on with! And of course all the OEP stuff, (though we go through around 2 - 3 packs of tortillas in one go so wont last us too long!! I need to get some 'brass ones' next time a glitch is up and load up the trolley lol!)

Thank you to all those who posted recipes! Will def be giving them a try!

Thank you also to fudge2! A really lovely lady! :)

ok maybe I am being thick or maybe I can use the 'american' excuse but what does DTD mean? I assume it is discount but not too sure what it stands for...had to work out SEL myself ( DH used to work at tesco in his youth- where that went). I also get SS and SA but there was another one RTC I don't know either..... any help I would be much obliged.

Apologies for quoting myself. Hmm, judging by the speed of the thread today vs yesterday, I guess it's not working? Lol.
