That is very true, Xmas in my house this year definately isnt recession hit with all this years glitches, my family will think I've won the lottery with all the lovely electrical stuff theyre getting for pressies, the wine will be overflowing thanks to Mr T in his free DTD wine glasses, choccies, puds, finest crackers to go with cheese,DTD biscuits, new cutlery and even got a glitched sparkly table runner for the xmas table. That is just some of the stuff I'll be using!! Recession, what recession, couldnt agree more;);););)I'm a savvy mse'ing trampette me;)

Snap, loads of tesco toys, electricals, christmassy food, clothing, booze, aint no recession here. The money we have saved on the stuff tesco has kindly provided me with, has meant we can splash out elsewhere.

(few nice hampers from M&S to)

Christmas this year is gonna be amazing.

Forgot to mention, the other day I saw a SEL for Character Pez dispensers reduced from £1.49 I think, to about 32p.... shelf was cleared though :(
Couldn't find any on clip strips either...
  • I'd like to thank you ALL for this fabulous thread. I was recommended to come here and it's been an inspiration.

I've tried a few of the bargains you've all been lucky enough to find but had no luck. However today has been a bit different!

OEP working in D*rham (City Centre Metro) this morning for me (and at 6pm tonight for a friend) Cadburys 3 > £1.20

OEP working in S*nderland (City Centre Metro) lunchtime for me (and at about 4.30pm for my daughter) same, 3 for £1.20.

(All of these were the complete dinner kits priced normally at £2.96 to £3.22 per box)

No luck on OEP at the Extra store outside of D*rham though. BUT I finally found the Clipper Tea and the Anti-Calc at 1p, but I was too chicken to take the whole clipstrip.

After a rubbish year and a worse last fortnight this has kept me busy and kept my mind off things, as well as saved me and my daughter a fortune! Mexican New Years party for us!

    New 4p find!!

I know its a lonely little clip strip but it was just dangling there all lonesome. So in my trolley it went, and then i spotted the 4p thing. Its a keyring, BC 4880, from a "normal" store

I reckon a new 4p find and a clipstrip pic together should qualify me for the club :-D)
