Phew just read all 23 pages - I usually lurk but felt I had to contribute after reading everyone posts. Thank you to everyone who contributes. I hate tesco with a passion and try to only go when absolutely necessary. I did of course make full use of the price match thingy earlier this year and went to t's everyday so that is probably why I'm so loathe to go now! Hugs to those who need them and want them! Hope everyone is staying warm and wrapping up well when venturing out.

  • I supposed I'd be wasting my time asking for my scallies to be 'rare'? :D

SOCO have just been but the poor little mites must have been cold as they wore gloves. They did leave a lovely big clear trainer print on the washing machine though! Any tread pattern experts on here if I post up a pic of the pattern?

Here you go.....what trainers are these?

Hi I have only been a lurker for a couple of days, hope you don't mind too much:o
Those treads look like Vans which might help but then again probably the most common trainers at the moment:(
  • that doesnt look like them as the corners of the stars are different. *goes back to the shoe box for another rummage*

  • Afternoon :)

Sorry to hear of other's misfortune at the moment.

FK I'm so sorry to hear you were broken into :( And that they managed to make off with some of your belongings. It's such a horrible feeling, someone having been in your house, I really sympathise and hope the marks they've left behind and the info you've received will help track them down.

Caz, poor you....I don't know what to say or what advice to give but I'm thinking of you.

Winjackie sorry you're feeling ill now too, I hope you're feeling a little brighter today and managed to get a good night's sleep.

And Gemini sorry to hear about your MIL, hope she's on the mend soon.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, just been trying to catch up, this new thread is moving very fast! Or atleast it was last night!!

I'm debating a T's visit. I found some conditional spend vouchers and I'm tempted, even though I'm still too ill really. My excuse is that someone has to do the shopping! :p

Can someone tell me please, I thought I read a few pages ago but now I don't know if I made it up.....is there a new price drop booklet out????? Please say there is!! :T And are there any vouchers in it??

    Thanks guys :A

I've taken the upper hand and invited the ex-in-laws around for an hour on their own this afternoon to see the boys. DS2 has gone with his dad but DS1 is with me as he's barely eaten and still isn't well.

And for Locarr - I wasn't sure if you'd seen SSS's follow-up post so I've quoted it below for you as your original quote is now out of context and I don't want any confusion on the matter.
Just read your last post Caz.

Suppose in a way, its good that the kids are so young that they dont understand fully yet... they will make up their own mind when they are old enough... he does sound like a scumbag tbh - and so do his parents.....

what i would do is make up an excuse - well, its not really an excuse - just say that they are poorly so you are not happy with them going out visiting atm - But, hopefully when they are feeling better...... and just leave it at thet....

That way - you dont look like 'the bad person' - (even though you arent!!)

if you need a chat - you know where i am. x

I appreciate you showing concern Locarr as initially I thought you were just out to cause trouble on this thread but the fact that you have embraced our little section of the forum and are now worried about me makes me feel bad for thinking otherwise.
  • hey guys...off the topic, but You normally are here....bought some anadin headache tablets from Tesco about 4 weeks ago reduced to 49p on a clipstrip, I went to take some and they expired 07/2010!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek:
