    Hello everyone!

This is my first post on an internet forum EVER! I've actually been "lurking" on this forum since the good old days of R&R when I was reading daily stories of free XBoxes, DVDs, phones, computers and of course food (I can hardly believe it's been 5 years since R&R ended!) but i've always been so scared about posting because in real life I am terribly antisocial and I get so nervous and worried around people I don't know (it's stupid I know) but I thought after 5 years of lurking it was about time I said hi! So "HELLO!" - please don't hurt me!! :A

I don't want to say exactly where i'm from (still too nervous!) but I will say that it's somewhere very rural up north! And as a result of where I live, I don't have any Tesco's near me! The only supermarket for 20 miles is a small Co-Op and an even smaller Costcutter, so to get to Tesco means a 40 mile round trip on slooooow country roads, and it's only a tiny store too. I couldn't bring myself to drive there today to check out the Old El Paso glitch just in case it didn't work in my store and ended up being a total waste of time and petrol. I would love to live somewhere surrounded by Tescos (how sad does that sound?!) so that I could go hopping from store to store filling my boots with bargains like all of you! That would be so fun! But I do love living in the countryside regardless. So I very rarely get to take part in any of the amazing glitches or offers I read about on here. The last glitch I managed to take advantage of was the small boxes of Roses for 1p nearly a year ago! That was fab! I do get a bit jealous of your huge hoards (OK, very jealous seeing all your photos!) but it's OK because I have such a laugh reading all about what you're up to and how many goodies you've managed to grab! I have spent many an evening killing myself laughing at all the pictures and the stories of bargains and whoopsies and trouting and the newly founded "Strip Club" - genius! :rotfl:

So anyway I just wanted to say hi and thank you all so much for posting because even though it's difficult for me to take part, I still really appreciate everyone's posts and they really make me smile! :T

I can safely say that having been a step-mum to a girl, if I'd had pink 1st it would be an only child. My 2 boys are the most wonderful little bundles of joy I could ever have wished for. I was actually looking back at old pics tonight and even back when DS1 was a year old, he had the same cheeky grin he gets now when he's up to mischief.

Oh and I'm not a fan or girly toys like Barbie or Sylvanian family. I can't wait for the DSs to grow up so I can play with their Lego :D

Caz that describes my position to a tee! You know where you are with boys, a spades, a spade, so to speak, but girls, well devious & manipulative doesnt begin to cover it. & I'm sure I was just the same when I was growing up too!lol

  • Cant keep eyes open any longer! Laptop keps sliding off my belly! Night peeps x Fingers crossed for OEP tomorrow ;)
  • ha ha... nah - 6 years old DS1 and 20 months old DS2. :)

Im not THAT bad...... but do want loooads of children...... this will be the last of our own though - Fostering is what we would like to do next when our own are a bit older. xxxx

    Evening all!
Sunshinestar, hope you don't mind me quoting you, absolutely LOVING your bump! My ds3 is 1 today:T, I am so broody looking at this pic i want another baby:eek:.
I have 1 girl and 3 boys, the girl by far the hardest, most spoilt and of course prettiest!
Sorry, didn't want to interrupt your conversation. I am so painfully shy, that's why i don't post often!
Just wanted to let you know it's fab, and i'm soo jealous;) x

100% agree. I went to an all girls school so you can imagine what 7 years of that did to me! I honestly don't think I was devious though and I can think of a couple of very good examples. Now I don't want to offend so tell me off if I'm going too far but these are both incidents related to a girl I would class as "a good wee Christian":

    1. I pranged my dads car on the first day after passing my test. They were just home after a holiday so the girl in question suggested I tell them the dent must have happened at the airport but their jet-lag meant they didn't see it
    2. Same girl loved to give off about those of us who went to pre-formals (each year the girls in Upper Sixth organised !!!!-ups to generate money for the school formal but it was rare that 5th year and L6th didn't manage to sneak in). She thought it was disgusting us drinking under age and coming into school the next day a bit worse for wear (by a whole year). Fast forward to a few months before she hit 18 and she decided Mr Smirnoff was her best friend. She was so ill we nearly had to call an ambulance. She then blamed her vomit covered clothes on 'time of the month' when her mum asked.

I can't be bothered playing mind games, probably as I'm useless at them. Give me a bloke any day as you know where you stand, they'll not lie to your face then stab you in the back plus (unless it's a gay best friend) they won't steal your boyfriend or nab that guy you've been drooling over for weeks!

 Welcome, the folks here are fab & really friendly.
When you say you're up north, do you mean north of the border? There are a few of us up here so keep an eye out for anyone mentioning you're 'local' store.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.
