That's exactly what I said to my husband when we saw the trailer, I could do three Christmas meals for £50 if I had to! Thanks for reminding me to watch it though.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
I was born in Wallsend too, probably long before you though 1953
and all the family are still up there, in Howdon - Mr 3Dogs is from North Shields and we moved down to P'boro in 1985 - now near Wisbech
Small world but as they say, wherever you go, you're sure to find a Geordie :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

I know that garage very well - we lived in Battle Hill for 20 years. My aunt lived in Forest Hall - Victoria Ave
I was born in the old Wallsend, the street of terraced houses down to the shipyards - all gone now
Yep in a terraced house, by the shipyard -but mine is still there near the metro station & I only lived in Battle Hill for 10 years before moving to HeatonI say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Curses, karlie, I was just debating the same thing. Especially as I've never used Old El Paso and am not entirely sure what to do with a bunch of tortilha type things! O_o
Also on the list of debates: Going to the superstore that's open 24 hours but doesn't have a scanner, or to the smaller store that only opens later and does have a scanner. This after spending the night awake as having been on night shifts for several nights in a row makes me more nocturnal than usual.GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

the thing is, this glitch was first noticed yesterday afternoon on the other tesco thread.

being very mse, i thought i would put my mary berry xmas cake in the oven when i woke up at 6am this morning. cheaper eletric.it takes 4 hours to cook. i woke up at 3am. and thought yah it can be cooked with all cheap electric :j. all was going well. i went back to sleep and woke up at 4am to the smell of cake cooking wafting up the stairs
, then my son woke up. "mum i'm hungrey" was his call:eek:. he was thrown a banana and sent back to bed. i sort of dozed off again. but the best part was turning the oven off at 7am. letting the cake cool off. and then eating some off it. that wont last the day though
too yummy.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
Very true... Would it work if one was buying dips only, do you reckon? I could excuse myself for buying 3 dips even if they went through only at the original 3 for 2 price, but not sure about the rest.
Might give it a try anyway since I should do a top-up shop on my snacks...
