but surely there may still be a glitch??

if you look at all the old el paso offers here:

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A29304525

there are some spice mixes for 59p each.

    so 3 x £0.59 = £1.77
minus one that's free and the £1.20 cadbury promo means that you'll get paid 2p to take them away?

    anyone else agree?

i think its 3 for £1.20 offer so id guess the dearer the item the more discount. the post on the other thread had 8.94 saving

I think it would deduct 59p for the free one, then another 57p for the 3 for £1.20 cadbury promo. You need to buy something more expensive to make the 3 for £1.20 promo pay out a higher amount... I think!

    Evening all!

I have a question please for all you seasoned 1p finding professionals!

I have been bargain hunting for years but am new to the art of finding 1p and ridiculously reduced buys in the lovely T's. Can I ask - how often do you get trouted when buying them? Since receiving a major trouting the other day in T4lb0t Gr33n and having a load of stuff taken off me(allegedly it's "illegal" for them to sell items for 1p, apart from the ones she'd just scanned lol) it's made me a little nervous. The problem is I've found a load of 1p stuff I want to keep so what's the best way to get them through safely?

I know ss is an option but that brings it's own hazards and always beeps for no damn reason lol!

Any advice greatly appreciated....I love this it's like a new addiction!

    Thank you!!!

I'm working it out that the cheaper the items the bigger the discount as you get 3>£1.20 -£3.40 what ever items you buy plus 3 for 2 ...so a third off plus -£3.40!:D

    Right - with thanks to bargainhuntergill - the glitch is on Old el Paso currently on offer at 3 for 2;

Bought 2 packs of taco shells @ £1.54 each plus jar salsa @ £1.52; Total cost = £4.60

    2 discounts:
    cadbury 3>£1.20 -£3.40
    OEP 3for 2 c/free -£1.52

End result is being paid 32p to take these 3 items away.

That has to be the strangest glitch Mr T has done so far - a cadbury's discount on Old Paso items
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(
