Well done, join the queue for your number.

I'm going to put all the numbers in a hat and a week today I'm going to pull one out. Whoever's number I pull out has the joy of me coming to visit for Christmas and NY.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It better not be my bl00dy number :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

For all those looking for the splenda mine was in a box on the shelf as normal, sel £1.89  SS SA came over as my till kept moaning about an unknown item in my bag and nearly fainted when she saw it was 1p, thought she was going to stop me but i just said ' yes its a great offer is'nt it' smiled and scanned as fast as I could and ran out the door!

Can I ask if you have the bar code please, is it just certain 'discontinued' packaging or shoet best before date please? My mum gets through loads of these, they are SO expensive at full price, and usually stock her up when they are half price, if I could get her some at 1p she would be over the moon!:)

  • Texet BMC-231 Pocket Calculator 2942 on a clip strip in the stationery aisle and scans at 50p. Think I remember seeing this on one of the threads a few months back, but checked my local Mr T - Bro3kfie&ld Fa&m at the time but couldn't find any. Found some today though, loads on the strip, only took one (calculator that is, not the strip). Not a bad little calculator, just used it to add up what I have spent on each of the kids this Christmas. Uv gotta be fair, so spent a while writing everything down and adding up each list in turn then wrapping the prezzies up.

Can't believe how much stuff I have had stashed away at the bottom of the wardrobe during the year. Has anyone tried to wrap up one of the Fearne Hat Boxes from the 75% off at Boots last Jan Sale? Such an awkward shape. Got one for my sister, DDs have one of the Gok Sets each from their sale too. Hope the contents are gonna be ok, mind you it's not like they're eating them is it.

I've had had such a laugh recently reading all the comments on here. What with wombling and trouting, I know exactly what you mean.

Thanks for all the things being posted, managed to pick up half a dozen splendas and a few bags of Dormen, but the descaler boxes have a fat black pen line going across the bar code so won't scan.

Still, looking forward to grabbing a few bargains when I can. Thanks again folks. :)

am sure someone posted yesterday about having found the veg crisps in warnd*n wooster...if they see this could they point me in the right direction as I wandered round and rond today looking as my veggie daughter would love a bargain

That was me but unfortunately I have no idea where I found them, I was also assuming Worcest*r 2 on the receipt was Worcest*r W6rndon, if not then they're at the main W0rcester one.

Evening all - loving the clipstrips:j:j:j
Haven't managed to get out today as my "charge" has been quite poorly, so the last thing i want to do is take her out in this grim weather, but as soon as she is better i will be out of that door like a ferret up a drain pipe, and hopefully joining the "strip club" in the very near future.

Frequent i can't wait to see "you" in your clip strips!!!

HappyChappy received my post today, THANK YOU so much very kind of you, if i can return the favour in any way please don't hesitate to ask.

Started taking my maleria tablets today - one week from now will be sat in the sun in Goa - can't wait and to be honest; i won't miss rushing out to Mr T's trying to dodge the down pours, i will how ever be thinking of you all and the glitches i am missing - but you can't always have your cake and eat it.
Very proud to be Strip club member No 43

I'm not sure where to start with this or where to post but need some urgent advice:

Myself and my partner have been struggling with high bills at present and have been trying to cut our bills as much as possible. This has resulted in us getting our meat from the local butcher and we have seen a great reduction in price.
We have been buying from the butcher for about 6 months now and been trying different meats and been saying to the butchers to let us know of any other meats and have got quite friendly with the staff.

I was quite shocked to learn the other day the chap who normally serves us arrived at the house Monday morning with a big black bag. We were shocked to see him as we discussed where we lived but he'd never been round to the house. He said it's a new type of meat alot of people are liking at the moment but couldn't sell it to us in the shop. He said it was free as we'd been good customers.

To cut a long story short we ended up with cutlets of Swan which we ended up eating on Monday and Tuesday night. It was really good quality meat so mentioned this to a good friend of ours who said that eating this meat is illegal and should never mention this to anyone.

Has anyone else tried Swan? Is this illegal?

Very illegal. Where do the swans come from? Swans are protected.
