Sorry to quote myself but just to add that I think that is why I appreciate HC & Westvleteren's sense of humour too, if they are originally from Wearside ;);)

BTW I eventually got round to googling 'Westvleteren' the other day - Flanders, trappist monks and beer ;);););)

Really? That's news to me, I thought it was just a small village ;);):rotfl:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I'm not vying for a place in the HCSC.... not because I wouldn't love to be part of the gang but because I'm too chicken :p

    Evening guys

Well it turns out I'm not as chicken as I thought :D I managed 2 clip strips of the descaler things! Saw an innocent looking young guy at the SS and took my chances asking him to input the quantity of 7 of each:T So now that I've paid my 14p membership, please can I join the HCSC??!! :D

HC I know you posted about how to post a pic a while ago, could someone please direct me, I don't have a CLUE! :rotfl:

Also got 4 clipper green teas and a box of Koko as a treat for meeeee!:A

    64p white magnums (3 box)

Thanks for this zippydoodah, I managed to get 1 box, lots left on the shelf.

Another find in an Express .... 4 pack Rolo cones 64p

I found a full clipstrip of the lucozade shots but they scare me a bit! :p So I thought I'd leave them for someone else :D

That was the good news! the bad news was how I got to actually be at T's in the first place..............
    My car's fixed :T £1200 bill:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I tried 4 x Xmas food from the reduced section today. Reduced to £1.79 each, and at the till paid £3.20 for the 4 packs. Managed to get 2 packs of the prawns, BBQ Chicken and Pork pies. Not as good as people who managed to get them for free, but still a good bargain :-)

Plus I finally found the Mingles, and a single pack of Pink Koko. .... and more of my fave Veggie crisps. Also the Finest Christmas cake that was mentioned earlier, I think I paid £2.75 but the receipt is in the other room!
  • Evening everyone. I am so excited, finally made time for a trip to T's and this is what I found:
    6512043413_a8d50f9141_m.jpg

DD is mortified that i simply unhooked the clip strip and chucked it in the trolley :o Cant remember who had the tip about leaving the strip in the trolley while scanning the items but it worked so thank you. Can I join the club, pretty please?

For all those looking for the splenda mine was in a box on the shelf as normal, sel £1.89  SS SA came over as my till kept moaning about an unknown item in my bag and nearly fainted when she saw it was 1p, thought she was going to stop me but i just said ' yes its a great offer is'nt it' smiled and scanned as fast as I could and ran out the door! Have yet to find mingles or koko.

Congratulations on the new baby. There is nothing better than cuddling up with a newborn :)

I am tempted to go to an extra tomorrow, is the DM still cheap?
