    :D Morning!

Seriously.....you know that you've been spending too much time thinking about T's when you wake up from a dream about clipstrips, green tea, gold bears & choccy bells  I knew I should have got off my lazy bum and gone express hunting for the lindt bells/bears last night. Anyone had good luck with that glitch today?

No you KNOW you've ben spending to much time and money in Tesco, when you log onto your online banking and see 2 pages of transactions that just say ''Tesco''

  • Just wanted to say thanks to French Knickers - I tried the woopsies last nite - was there about 7.30 and they were all reduced. The meat wasn't great - but there were people killing each other to get at it. The fruit and veg was lettuce and parsnips lol - so i left them, but I got bread and baps down to 29p, one lady had filled her trolley to the brim with bread, ( but I teold myself she was feeding a shelter or something ) and just left it !
Spent £92 still though and didn't even get a till spit, miserable sods !

    p.s

Sunshine, they told me my baby would be 7 and half lb he was only 5 and half and my second they said would be small, around the 5lb mark - he was 7lb - they don't always get it right. What ever weight your baby is will be fine ! There's plenty of growing time once she is out !
    Best wishes x

I phoned our local B&Q to ask about potted xmas trees (currently selling for around £13), the sweet guy on the end of the phone told me all real trees (cut and potted) will be less than half price from tomorrow and "it'll be madness on Thursday and Friday" (his words not mine) which I took to mean they'll be dropping the price to £1 or 1p like last year.

I also saw on another thread that homebase were giving away their trees on xmas eve last year - but that may be too long to wait (sorry can't remember which thread it was on).

I got a free tree about 5' the year before last at Homebase on Christmas Eve, hadn't been waiting on reductions but life got in the way of Christmas looks like it will be the same this year :(

Snap, I was told my 1st would be around 6lb at 30 weeks, I had had steroids at 20 weeks as he was at risk of coming early so they wanted to give his lungs a boost, just in case. He popped out at 9lb, and looked like a 6 month old baby.

My 2nd was small, hospital said 6lb, she came out at nearly 8lb, but was absolutely tiny, so I asked them to weigh her again to double check, and my 3rd was measuring big at 8 1/2lb but came out just under 7lb.

there is a reason they do all the measurements at 20 weeks, its the perfect time, up until 18 weeks all the effort goes into developing brain heart and all the other vital bits, after 18 weeks all this should be done, then baby concentrates on putting on weight, muscle & body fat, any time after 22 weeks and it involves a bit of guesswork, as unborns can and does have little growth spurts, and as your so close to popping, and there is no room in there to get a decent measurement, I wouldnt worry to much about babies weight, as baby is clearly healthy.
