HI Legendmum, are you in L1ane11i area?
I went to see the Coca cola truck today there and got soaked too, i thought it was a bit of an anti climax tho as we were so excited to go and there was no christmas spirit IMHO the people handing out the cans looked totally bored, and that was it! line up to have photo taken at the front No christmas music playing at all! :(
We drove for about 1hr 15 min to get there too.

On the plus side i did get to visit mr t's there (never been in that one before) and there were lots of goodies.
I found CDM all marked up at 34p:T:T:T, Mingles i picked up 1 box for me and there were about 10 left but after shopping in some other shops went back to get more for teachers gifts but they had all gone! I got 3 leaf trays (3 left) 1 pack of sour fruit things 1p from clip strip. They also had the anti calc things someone posted last night but i didnt get any, also character bubble necklaces ( i didnt get any) Saw the lable for £3 haribo's but none there, and finally found some zubber charms but they scanned at £5 odd :(

The best part of the day had to be the drive home lol just because we were playing Christmas songs really loud and all 5 of us in the car were singing along :D Cracked me up listening to the kids all laughing and singing along and all pretending to be choir boys singing the really high bits in good old cliff's misteltoe and wine:p I was really impressed that the kids knew all the words lol

came home watched Christmas with the kranks that we sky + and then x factor and now watching Elf :D

Hi hun I am C@m@rthen! Did find it a bit of an anti climax but apparently they were supposed to be singing carols and chritsmas songs but coulodnt use the speakers because it was too wet? Still HAD to go see it! Aw gutted I missed the mingle and I have loadsa cdm and have 2 leaf trays already! Very glad you found some bits though hun! I found it difficuly as DS and OH were moaning so I couldnt get into mission mode!

P.S. HC - I only do VO and some Toluna. Not tried Pinecone or NVL that I know of but then I did sign up to some but kept getting rejected so gave up.

That would be Pinecone then, they make me  Toluna are painfully slow. But New Vista is the best, they pay you in hard cash :)
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

• Morning all :D

*yawn* I really need to go to bed earlier, the last few mornings I haven't even heard my DD when she's woken up! Thankfully OH gets up with her though, before I get the title of worst mother ;) :rotfl:

Just a quick jaunt to T's for me for essentials such as bread and milk, didn't realise my cupboards were getting bare! Def not buying any more chocolate though... ;)

Hope you all have a good day :D

Sorry I'm not posting much.
I'm concerned I'd feel like I was missing out as I can't get to Ts now until Saturday

Ho hum. We are having a nice time all the same.
We were toasting chunky slices of fruit loaf over a roaring fire last night. Lashings of butter, mmmm.

So glad Little Mix won!
It was nice to see the judges perform on Saturday too. Gary Barlow was awesome.

Have a nice day, everyone :)

Pinecone is difficult to get in to, you can't go to their site and sign up. You have to look for them advertising in adverts on web pages or be recommended by someone that's already a member.

NVL is ok, you do get rejected for a lot of surveys to start with. They only pay out once you reach £50 though. I've been with them a few years and I've had £100 out of them (which is not be sniffed at) and I'm more than half way towards my 3rd cheque. :)

Good morning all. :)

Yes, you aren't seeing things, I really am up this early.:eek:
