Just came across this at the Post Office today. Every day during Feb Royal Mail are giving away £1000 to one lucky person each day who has sent something using Special Delivery.
The promotion is called Make your 9am, so you would expect it to be only for people using the Royal Mail 9am delivery, but it is infact for both types (9am and 1pm).

I Do All The Post At Work And Do 5-10 Special Delivery Parcels A Day So Will Keep An Eye On The Barcodes.

There is a no Purchase necessary route to this competition...No purchase necessary. For the same chance of winning send your name, address and telephone number, clearly handwritten on a plain piece of paper to “Make your 9am”, FREEPOST HR109, Ross on Wye, HR9 7BR, and an entry will be placed on your behalf. No purchase entries must be received by 5pm on 28 February 2007 and winners will be notified by telephone or post. Only one application per envelope. No third party/agents/bulk entries.
