Hi,
I bought a very expensive satellite receiver called a Vu qube from aerialshack.com on the 15th of November, and heard nothing it was supposed to come in 5-7 working days, it still had not come by the 30th, at which point I asked for a refund, which they put through, I still havent received my money. This is a large amount of money and I am worried I am not going to get it back, they are very difficult to get through to, they never pick up their phones and they don't answer emails. Does anybody have any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks for the help

Have you received - in writing - confirmation that they are going to refund you? Did they give a time schedule/date when the refund was taking place?

I have an email confirming the cancelation, but it doesn't mention any time schedule. I was prepared to give them a week, but 9 days without any response, I am worried they have stolen nearly £500 from me.

They have 30 days to refund you so you might have to wait a bit longer.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea it was that long, that is disappointing. Would I be entitled to any compensation, as they told me it would take 5-7 working days and over 2 weeks later not receiving it?

Have you suffered any quantifiable loss?
