Play.com price change

I recently purchased an item from play.com that has yet to arrive. However when I looked today, the price of the item has dropped. On the website it says that you can return your items for free and they would even cover the return postage. Would I be okay to order the same item now at the cheaper price and return the one I have already paid for? What do you guys think?

From what i remember, play only cover postage on faulty items. If the item is returned because you changed your mind then you would cover return postage costs.

They are also situated in jersey or guernsey (i forget which) BUT i believe they do have their own "DSR's" that are almost identical. If that is the case, you should be able to cancel, refuse the delivery when/if it turns up and get a full refund.

However, they have no obligation to allow you to re-order. So I would speak to them first, rather than have all the paperwork, they may just issue a refund for the difference.
