MY dad has car insurance on 2 cars with different providers.
On car 1 he is using his no claims discount(9Years).
On Car 2 he is using Zero no claims discount.
He's had and accident in car 2 and needs to claim but will this effect the no claims on car 1?
Thanks.

No, although it will affect his premium as he will need to declare an accident on Car 1 at renewal. It won't affect his no claims as he won't be making a claim on car 1 insurance policy.0
