:mad:Hi We had a item that was being auctioned or you could buy it now. We had a offer came in that we was considering and left it about 1hr 30mins whilst thinking. This person had a very good rating. Then when we re checked someone had purchased it on the buy it now option(This was on Wednesday night). So we thought great we got what we was asking for. The guy sent us a email asking for our phone number so he could arrange pick up and bring cash payment. He gave him our mobile number but not heard from him. His rating is zero and we thought we blocked these but you cant apparantley. Now we have heard nothing. On the info sent from ebay it states his name and address and ive checked on BT directory and this person does exsist at this address. Ive even googled street maped him. Last night we re sent email with our phone number on and still not heard. Can we ring the number we have found or is that wrong to do that? Do we get in touch with ebay and ask for a refund and then re list? Do we go to the other person who put the first offer in and see if he is still interested?
Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Maybe they were busy last evening & work during the day. You can get their phone number from ebay & give them a call to arrange a collection time.0

Problem is that as OP is hoping for cash (as would anyone to avoid the paypal on collection scam) he would have been forcing the buyer to use paypal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
