Hi All,
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy a superser for the house (for emergency rather than general use). Or any recommendations on a superser?
We do have a yellow gas canister(?) so I will have to remember to check size - are there different connectors for different supersers?
Somewhere in a Downpatrick/Belfast radius or so....
I think I'd like to be able to see the superser rather than just buying online.
Many thanks

These can be got I see for £60 on amazon - am tempted to buy one. I remember from younger the heat from these can be superb. Are they economical to run however and where, in Belfast, would you buy the cylinders for them? I was reading online that a kg bottle lasts 147 hours on the lowest setting of 1.4kw - is this good then, I expect it is.0

I can't be in the same room as one, feel my throat closing up!0

Is a tank of gas not 25 quid now?
If it's 147 hours worth of heat on the lowest setting, that 17p per hour. Seems expensive to heat one room.0 -
We have a Dimplex Oil Free radiator which is very good. It's 2kw but has a variable thermostat and 2 heat settings, I imagine the lower setting is 1kw. £59.99 in argos at the minute.
Heats up quick then the thermostat maintains it. If your running it at constant at 1kw then 14p/hr if you on Budget Energy !
I just not too fond of gas things in the house tho supersers are big also, the oil free rad is small and light.0
