Hi, I have the Acer Aspire 3102WLMI laptop and recently upgraded to vista. However I am having trouble getting the sound to work and I am unsure of which driver to download and where from!
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Microsoft have applied for a patent so that drivers are DRMed so that if you want extra drivers you have to pay them for it.
Not saying that this is the case with your problem though. Most of the time I find that sound issues are down to jacks in the wrong plug, speakers not on, volume not on or up on speakers/computers software.0 -
Just go to Windows update. It will probably recommend to you to download the driver from there.
Worked a treat for my Acer Travelmate 40200 -
is this the same laptop you had problems finding where the memory bay was to upgrade? I would have thought you would have upgraded this first as min specs for vista is 1 gb ram!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did you sort this problem out , before you installed vista?I have nothing better to do!!!!

Its actually a min requirement of 512mb of RAM, 15Gig Free and 800mhz pro.
