eviction date from northern rock

You can't be evicted on an unsecured loan surely that's the point - there is no security on the money but a higher interest rate.
It sounds like NR are being awkward if you have the payment but its late why won't they take it? Especially when you can proove you can make future payments to clear the arrears.0 -
Go to your court that issued you with the eviction date next week (open all week 10-4) and make an application to suspend the warrant. The form you need is here (N244) and the court fee is £40.00. You will then receive a date to come back to court to have your application heard. Whilst at the court ask them for the details of the solicitors in your area that provide free advice on repossession and get it touch with one of them before the Christmas break if you can for further advice. xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Most likely NR have little confidence in the borrowers ability to maintain the agreed payment schedule. Given the failure to make Novembers payment. This is costing the NR a lot of time and money. Ultimately better to cut their losses.0 -
Thanks to everyone for previous posts very much appreciated x
i managed to get the eviction date on 24th jan stopped paid £7500 had to agree to pay £1000 more before close of buisness day i know it is silly to agree as i didnt havee another £1000 at the time i thought it would buy a bit more time managed to get £1000 for 20th feb and my monthly payment called nram only to be told they had applied for another date and that instead of the £1000 and £600 feb payment i thought i owed i i needed £3500 to stop this eviction as £1200 had been paid to unsecured i asked why this had been done again as they done the same back in oct paid £2000 to unsecurd the only answer i got was mandate team want full £3500 only way eviction will be stopped they wony even listen to me i know unsecured needs paid aswell but if all my paymenys had gone to the secured it
would have meant i would be in a better position to start clearing unsecurd arrears as they wanted £853 instead of my £600 monthy payment i would have been paying the arrears off at £253 and would be totaly clear in year
is there any way i can get them to pay the money from unscured back to the securd as they were supposed to the lady from nrem was very help full and culdnt understand why all my paymnts didnt go to secured as this would mean keepin my home but she has no authority to challenge mandate teams decision she was leaving notes on acc asking for the £1000 to be switched to secured
i know i am the only one to blame but i thought i the payments this month would have cleared my securd i am totaly gutted since oct i have paid £15,500 in arrears
does any one know if this will help me and if i have time if i go on mon morn to try and get it posponed and if i get a hearing with judge if i pay the £40 to court does this guarantee me a hearing
sorry im goin on so much , i would so appreciate any suggstions to keep my home
thank you x0 -
OP, could you use some punctuation please? I find your posts difficult to read.0

OP, could you use some punctuation please? I find your posts difficult to read.
Sorry but not everyone is a expert in grammar. The op is clearly worried and has asked for help. Yet you need to pick them apart, in what must be very upsetting times, for a few ., etc. I had no problem reading it, so give them a break.0 -

I'm not asking for expertise, just some punctuation to help break up the stream of words. I hardly picked the OP apart, just made a polite request, which, if followed, might mean more people, including me, would help because they would find the posts easier to understand.
You had no problem reading it, well done. You are not me.0 -

I hope somebody can provide helpful advice to the OP on this. But the number of people prepared to read something with no line spacing etc will be lower. So the chances reduce.
Perhaps talking urgently to CAB, Shelter or a solicitor would be the best course of action.0 -

I agree with opinions4u. it is difficult to read without any spacing and with a lack of full stops.
I wonder how you have got hold of the money paid back so far. Are you taking out further loans? How did you get into arrears to start with?0 -
I don't know why everyone is making such a fuss about grammar.
OP is annoyed because some of the lump sum repayments he made were used to clear the unsecured debt not just the secured debt, as he had instructed. He wants to know if NRAM can be forced to transfer all the payment to the secured debt.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
