Payment not going into my account - advice needed!

I am treasurer for my local school fundraising charity. As part of this we should recieve money from Parentpay for school uniform.
Parent Pay say that they have paid in the money to the correct account but there is no record of it arriving in the account. This is nearly £1000 in total over the last six months.
I am very concerned about it but at a loss as to what I should do next. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

If you have confirmed that the account number Parentpay says it is using is correct one and that (if applicable) the correct reference is being used then it is up to Parentpay to get its bank to trace where the money went.0

My money is on someone using the wrong account details, so the payment has gone somewhere else - and there it has stayed. It is always up to the sending bank to "put a trace" on the payment(s) to find exactly where they did go.
if it went to the wrong account...it can take a 'lot' of effort to get the money back which includes requiring the erroneous actual end recipient to sign an authorisation...which might be "difficult" in certain circumstances
if so as to whose fault......if depends on whether the details supplied were correct or not.
and whether whoever entered up the details on the payment mandate on the computer at parentpay did it correctly or not.
and whether indeed these details were actually used (and not some other stored ones) to make the payment.0
