Hi,
I am buying my first house and was sold their insurance (Buildings and Contents). We haven't moved in yet so it didn't kick in.
I have just visited one of the sites listed in the insurance section (a screenscraper) and managed to save myself a whopping £419.00 by shopping around.
It's incredible how ripped off you can be by taking the easy option. I couldn't believe it.
Thanks Martin for your articles and advice.
