  • hi guys! Am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!

yesterday I got an email re the interview I wanted saying he was really impressed with me but wanted to thrash out the salary as I am currently on 6K more than they were advertising. I replied entering into "hardball" with him saying I wanted 4k above what they were advertising and what an asset I would be and also wanted to be able to renegotiate once I had gone through the probationary period.

Today he came back & accepted my offer :j:j:j

Am so happy, although it is less money than I am on - I have no debt, its in my home town so that will save me £160 each month on petrol, and its 2 hours less a week than I am currently on so what with travel and "extra time" I should be working/travelling at least 10hours less a week :T

Phew I made it! finally out of the job that has been making me so unhappy!!! :D

    small things today:
    • checked banking x2
    • did vsp & updated sig
    • brekkie & lunch from stores
    • dinner from stores
    • eeked out the petrol for another day
    • NSD
    • staying in rather than going out

ok thats all - pretty poor show but too excited to do much :T:T

    love to u all x

  • Hi everyone, I'm a bit late on parade today. Thanks Perni for starting us off! Well done everyone on your achievements today.

    Today I have:
    - Walked to the school where I volunteer so no petrol
    - Took a packed lunch to school (last nights dinner re-microwaved heh)
    - Last night I put my first £2.30 in my sealed pot for 2012

    Just have left to do:
    - Check mine and OH's online banking

Then a relaxing evening (staying in with Film4, no money spent!) Although we did buy chicken nuggets for dinner because the only things we had in the house were rice, garlic and soy sauce so we needed something to go with it! :(

    See you tomorrow all! :j

  • Well done on the fantastic job offer determined new ms. That's brilliant news.
    Since this morning I have
    Checked online banking
    Started vsp
Taken cash out to last me the weekend
Didn't buy anything at the shops on the way home other than the 2 things on my list (Christmas cards and a birthday present for a party my son is at tomorrow)
Added cash to my sealed pot at home
Dinner from stuff already in fridge
Heating set to turn off at 10, not half past
    Quite proud.
