cancel a payment question...

Without going into details (as I dont think it is relevant to my question) i spent around £300 on a tablet pc online from a site I had never used before.

Anyway after calling them numerous times and emailing numerous times today (as I had a few questions on both delivery and the product itself) and not being able to get through to them at all and getting no reply I juts want to now cancel the order.

Turns out they are a HK company and there are lots of bad reviews of them online with stuff not arriving etc. and more regarding items not being at stock at the time do dropshipping.

No payment has been taken yet so if I get in touch with the bank can they cancel the payment so none is ever taken? I did email a cancellation but not holding any hope.

I really dont need the hassle at the moment of something like this and certainly dont have time for it!

if no payment has been authorized and you dont want it to. I would get the bank to cancel your card.

Cheers for the advice. When I spoke to the bank it was already authorized so they couldn't stop it. Luckily after many emails someone finally got back to me confirming cancellation ;)
