New Car
My current car has 105,000 miles on it at the moment and i cant see it holding out for the year. I am 24 and am looking for something a bit special to drive for a couple of years and then when its time for kids etc sell up and get a more practical car. Ive been looking into leasing as opposed to buying, could someone briefly tell me the ins and out of this and if there are any negatives by doing it?
Many thanks

usually leasing is more expensive than buying... also you won't own the car... after say 3 years, you have the option of buying the car by paying a lump sum or simply discontinue the lease and take a new car under new lease.
pros
you can almost ride a new car always
cons
you never become owner of the car!Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Hello wrighty
I'll move your thread to the 'Motoring & Public Transport' board, where it should get more views and responses.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. The best thing to to would be to buy a nearly new, I saved nearly £8000 buying a car 5 months old with a few 1000 miles on it over buying the same car new.
Its a grown up looking car Vectra but it has the 1.9 CDTi 150 engine so goes like !!!! of a shovel its the SRi trim so looks pretty smart too.
A few options if your looking for somthing quick Peugeot 207 GT my mate has just ordered one, or an older 306 GTi.
Your problem could be that your only 24 not yet reached the magic 25 so insurance will be stupid.0
