M&S TV faulty

Hi, for my sins i bought a 32'' M&S tv when they were on offer last week. After setting it up i found that the DVD player would not play. I called M&S hoping to get a replacement,but was told they are no longer in stock. They have offered a full refund, but i like the telly and would like to keep it. Can i get them to repair it?
