Anyone waiting for parcel delivery, weather update

Was talking to a colleague in another store today and he told me that he had heard from parcles 2 go that they were no longer taking any deliveries before Christmas which are to be delivered to the following areas.
All Scotland
Scottish Highlands
Northern Ireland

Thought it best to raise it with you as you may be waiting for a parcel. Parcels 2 go use lots of different carriers, like citylink, DHL,Nightfreight, hermes etc. So They must be hearing it from them. Purely down to weather conditions and backlogs from continuing weather.
Looks like last year MK 2
Can anyone in the carrier network substantiate this rumour?
