Didnt know they did that in 100ml was it wrapped up - my mam got me a very valentino from ebay which she was pleased with as it was a larger size than you usually find and when I smelt it, it was a fake. Has the seller sold other perfumes

Testers never come in a different bottle design. They are a type of advertising - they MUST look like the one you buy, it is part of the brand image.

If it is a rectangular clear bottle, it isn't Stella in Two Peony, full stop. What does it say on the bottle? It might be one of those cheap duplicate scents that smell almost like the real thing for about two minutes, and then either disappear completely, or turn into something different and awful...

All those 100ml ebay listings are for fakes. Looks like some are the same seller with different names; all have the alleged Harvey Nicholls barcode. These need reporting.

Off t'Bay, 99.9% certainty. SNAD it as a fake, IIRC via Paypal the seller has to provide proof it's kosher.

Someone may correct me, but I thought that it was an eBay claim that put the onus to prove it's genuine on the seller, not a Paypal claim.
  • Just a thought, but if you could be bothered, why not try and contact the manufacturers and ask them? That way if it is dodgy they will be on the alert that this is going on and if it isn't then they can put your mind at rest.

One way to find out if that seller is telling the truth about harvey nichols is to look on their website, here's a screen print:

As far as I can see that proves that the seller is lying about the harvey nichols, which would probably mean the product is fake

Stella in Two is a discontinued scent - it is unlikely to be listed on any proper department store website, although there may be a few still knocking around. No, it is just a new twist on the fake packaging, the Harvey Nichols price label. The fake label price is too high as well.
