Good! Every bit you pay off means a saving and the more you save means you have more to pay off and so on and so on until you are mortgatge free and effectually have more freedom bearing in mind in this society you are only as free as your purchasing power.[STRIKE]£106,200[/STRIKE] mortgage with 5% deposit 2 years ago on 6.99% 04/06/08

Great news LP, another one attacking the banks' back pockets!!
I'm surprised there's not more people doing this, I only tend to see 30-or-so viewers on this particular Forum, I thought it would be heaving (unless I'm looking at the wrong times?)!!
I'm sure the word will keep spreading as time goes on.....
All the Best

Crazy isn't it.... My MFW dreams are more like my dirty little secret. Each time I attempt to tell a close friend they just think I'm stark raving mad. DH's best friend started to get a bit cheeky last week, we were talking about going out for dinner together as a 4 and he asked me whether I needed to consult my spreadsheet first! This coming from someone who lives month to month and can barely afford to feed himself and his family in the run up to pay day....
I didn't get in to a conversation about it, just smiled sweetly and had a few thoughts to myself.0 -
:-D
It's amazing how much difference it will make. Wish I'd started years ago!!!0 -

lol Its crazy that they think you are crazy!?
Crazy to me is being happy that you are economically enslaved to your mortgage debt and mocking others that are doing something about freeing themselves![STRIKE]£106,200[/STRIKE] mortgage with 5% deposit 2 years ago on 6.99% 04/06/08

Well better late than never. Before you know it today will become "years ago" and your debt will be paid.[STRIKE]£106,200[/STRIKE] mortgage with 5% deposit 2 years ago on 6.99% 04/06/08

Absolutely agree. I don't have much to spare but I transfer a few pounds whenever I can. It's amazing how much even a few pounds a month makes.
