while the articles sound interesting, the website reads like junk mail so I don't trust it.

Hi, dawnb,
Yes, the website is awful. But I subscribe to Money Week and am very happy with it. It's not actually a tipsheet as such, though that's the way it comes across; it's more a digest of the week's financial press, including the finance sections of the broadsheets. There is some editorial from the magazine itself, too, as well as occasional round table discussions with various investing professionals.
Just one thing - the slant is *very* bearish, so if that's not your angle you could find it rather depressing!

Also subscibe.
If you want somewhere that brings together all the 'best' articles from the financial press each week then it may be useful.
Sometimes it is a bit 'city' focused with articles about spread betting, comodities funds, debt vehicles etc so if you are using it for personal investment advice then it may not be for you.
I also subscribe to 'the week' which has some finance bits but also gives you the very best news articles from all the major newspapers in one easy to digest weekly summary.
