Oven making strange noise

Hello all,
I noticed last night that our electric fan oven was making a high-pitched buzzing / whining noise after it had been switched off. Thankfully you can't hear it when the oven door is shut, but I'm concerned about what's causing it. It's still making the noise this morning.
Any ideas or similar experiences anyone???
Thanks.

This happened to me only just recently, the fan kept on making a noise unless,I actually switched it off at the power point.I had to have it or some part to do with it changed. It only took about 10 minutes to do,but they did have to take the oven casing out to get at it.It has been ok since.Im sorry I dont know how much it would have cost it was still under guarantee.0
