It would be a logistical nightmare to do that. Plus, consumers dont demand it. However, consumers do demand that they buy from the cheapest premium at the top of the list.
What do you mean "a logistical nightmare" ?? - tis but simple - you charge for a quotation.
Your damn right motorists don't demand that they do pay for a quote - I was merely making the point that the costs involved in providing a new business quotation are borne by existing policyholders.
Ironically, the quotations facility is far and away more costly to administer than the cost of cancelling an existing policy.0
