PCN Blue badge not properly displayed

Dear All
I received a PCN from Islington council for failure to display a voucher or permit in a CPZ. At the time of the PCN there was a blue badge displayed, infact the car was parked for 6 hours in a warden heavy area before I was issued the PCN. I appealed and they sent photos of the car n the dark and frustratingly the blue badge is barely visible on the dashboard but it does look like something is there. It says on the reply to the appeal that the officer had checked and could not see a blue badge. Very annoying. i think I will have to pay up as I cant risk it going up to £130. What do you think?
Thanks very much

Sounds like the wrong contravention code to me. I suggest a trip to pepipoo.com and ask their advice. They specialise in parking/driving matters so will be the best to help you.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Do as P T P says and post over on Pepipoo, however you say you were parked for 6 hours? The blue badge will only give you a concession for 3 hours, but as their saying no blue badge at all seems strange.
You were not parked in a bay designated for another purpose were you?0
