Lidl half price weekend deals 17th-18th December & other deals from 15th Dec

Off to pick up some clementines, 1 for me and3 for my mom who absolutely adores them but has no Lidl close to her.

I wish my OH would eat meatballs - i love them with pasta. So i am keen to pick up some packs myself!!

fab offers, I got two packs of the chicken breasts, two packs of the pork, 1 x clementines, 2 x doritos, apple juice. I am now out of room in my freezer :j

I have reservations about the free range eggs..85p for 6. Just cracked one open ...pale yellow. was expecting dark/gold yellow.
Barn eggs in Sains is 69p

The pork is still on offer at half price in my local Lidl, they must have got too much stock in.

It depends on what feed they have as to the colour of the yolk. Additives are used in layers pellets to help make the yolks yellow. The feed I give my chickens has extracts from marigold and paprika in but would imagine commercial egg producers will use feed with other things in to make the yolks yellow.

There doesn;t seem to be that much on offer this week? I was going to take a trip today, but I think I'll hang on until tomorrow, when I can get the 1L pack of Ambrosia custard for 75p, will get my Christams veg at the same time.

yeah I was hoping for some meat on offer but nothing. I am sure they will have loads after x-mas.
