Good price for chicken, I will try pick some of that up.

Pork! Well we have run out again, so will get some, as it's really good for stir frys. a gammon joint will go down well for Christmas.

Thank you kc....apart from your list last week noticed Lidl do fresh whole chicken at £2.14kg.
Only small and medium And clearance compartment nearby with 30% off Kievs and Pork slices.
And as usual brilliant fruit and veg.
  • Just bumping this thread so it doesnt get missed!
A few good offers for me this time - parsnips, apple juice, pork, also has anyone tried the gammon? it looks a good offer.

    :)

Not tried as yet, but bought one yesterday.
They are of the "cheaper" variety and not a "premium" product.
Should be OK for sandwiches, soups etc.
£3.99 for 1.2kg is pretty cheap though.

At least the fish fingers are still frozen, that's what I keep telling myself (Truly Madly Deeply)

    Bump.
The 99p chocolate biscuits are very nice and worth a try (if you haven't tried them before) - both varieties.
    I wouldn't pay £1.99 for a pack, but 99p is a decent price.

BTW - will there be a half-price weekend next week bing Xmas?? Perhaps Friday and Saturday??
