Hi, a corgi gas engineer/plumber came round the other day to give us a quote on the following.
Give a service to 2 x Real flame Gas fires (one of them doesn't light, the Piezzo doesn't spark, but works OK if lighting using a lighter)) - Other one works OK.
Fix towel rail not warming up, valve stuck, seems to think a new valve (TRV?) will do it
Take off 1 old radiator and fit new one (on opposite side of room), pipes can go under floorboards fairly easily
Replace 1 other radiator (move it 2 foot to the left)
Replace 1 TRV on existing radiator
Install 1 New radiator in loft conversion (currently no existing pipework leading up)
Quote was £700. Seemed a lot to me, anyone with experience know if this is fair?
PS. The radiators and TRV's are to be supplied by us.
