not sure if anyone is still looking for a leappad explorer but thought i would post this just incase. There are 6 of the green ones available in mothercare swan*ea. hope this helps someone. forgot to add that they are full price at £79.99
  • Really disappointed with the amount of battery power the innotab takes. Put brand new duracell plus in it this morning, little one played with for approx 30 mins (not continuosly) and its showing low battery already.
We do have rechargeables and a charger which i left at my sisters which will be better when i get that back, but will still be using more electric charging them all the time!
Why are toys like this not powered by a plug like the ds etc? Do they have agreements with battery companies or something?
I think its a disgrace theres so many of my kids toys that they end up not playing with because they cost a fortune in batteries!

whats worse come online to buy the vtech adaptor but its sold out everywhere
  • theres a seller on amazon whos selling them for £3.99 in his reviews someone has put that they come with all the various attachments and that it fit an innotab x
  • I just read on amazon that you can use any multi charger on it as long as its 300 mA DC variable mains charger putting it to 9 volts and it worked a dream. You can get these for £4 pounds. We have been through 3 sets of batteries since yeterday! but not any more. You can even get these adapters for the car too.
  • Hi I've got an adaptor that's a 9v ac/dc as far as I can tell it should work fine but it's just the end won't fit into the innotab do you reckon I could get one of those attachments for the end? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to electrics :-)
