We are 5 students living together, someone is nearly always in the house, everything is electric in the house apart from the central heating, its a 4 bed house we r 2 couples and 1 single person

We are careful with electricity, turn lights and plugs off all time etc but we are not obsessive.

We have 3 lcd tvs, 4 laptops, a pc and 2 xboxes that are plugged in most of the time and also an electric halogen heater.

Yet our electricity bill was only £21 for 2 months?

Our bills are always quite low we only pay £27 a month ans are always in credit! Just wondering if this sounds right?

I am on supersaver online edf account

Thanks

Have you read the meters and compared this with the readings on your bill?

Is that £40 gas and £27 each or split five ways? If it is the latter, can I move in because that is rather good!

£27 split between five of us so just over a fiver a month each lol

I can't understand it? They've serviced the meters and everything before and they come check them every so often so im assuming everything is ok?

Double check that your meter readings are being used on the bills. Also get some loads running and see whether your meter is advancing [flashing LED on newer meters. Turn off your main switch for 5 minutes and check that the meter stops completely.

This will establish that you are being billed for your meter and your meter is measuring your supply.

Do they accept your reading? If they are rejecting them then they obviously think they dont fall into line with previous consumption.
