hears what you going to need http://productfinder.autoleads.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?&m=VAUXHALL&f=CORSA&id=1376&pID=2742
you dont need a facia adaptor, you may not need a aerial adaptor as i think the corsa pre 2000 has one fitted into it aeriel connector?
you would need DIN pins, http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/DIN_Radio_Removal_Tool to remove the old stereo, NOTE: some old type stereo's fitted to corsa and astra pre 2000 have blocked off DIN holes they have allen key hex grub screwsn in the holes for the DIN keys, remove withh allen key if fitted then the holes are free to insert DIN keys.
some times the harness cage is a bit too big for the hole in the dash, not to worry have some 400 grit sandpaper on standby amd slowly shave the ridges in the dash untill the cage slides in, make sure all tabs are fully depressed in the cage to mount a secure harness cage and prevent easy removal for theives. go on ebay for these products, you could possibly pick up what you require for under £15 inc p+p.
the new stereo will most likly have travel screws in the base, they will be labled and need removing prior to fitment.0 -

Completely wrong kit. You need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Corsa-D-Astra-H-Zafira-B-Single-Din-Stereo-Radio-Fascia-Fitting-Kit-/270834159788?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0ef950acThank you, i found an all in one package with reference to what you mentioned, but its pre 04, and my cars 08

(or one like it, this one comes with a silver surround)
The original unit in these can be a bit of a pig to pull out, some slide out easy but others feel like they have been welded in
You need to do some wiring as well, the adaptor comes with loose wires to connect up to a +12v switched supply as the original does not have one. 0 -
for some reason i thought was a 98, (blue screw your head on dude not with it today on new meds and go me all over the place lol).
molerat has got the kit, and at that price is a steal, the facia's are £29.99 on thier own, the aerial lead is £8.99 on its own and the wiring harness adaptor is the 4 pin block type and is £16.99 on its own in halfrauds again is an easy job i know it looks much but beleive me its easy. OH you will need DOUBLE DIN head unit removal pins again peanuts on fleabay.
edit here you go just and idea on how things should be done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kfQn2VTK5Q he removes the large standard unit, but after fitting (wich you dont see but is in the description) he discoveres something dont work because he forgot to swap the RED AND YELLOW wires around, yellow to red and red to yellow. the facia adaptor goes in tha big hole in your dash after removing, the the cage goes into the TOP partition the facia, secure well, then plug in you wireing harness adaptor swap your red and yellow wires for each other on the ISO harness that comes with the stereo (this is for your 12v memory in order to store the stations and cd position if not swapped youll have to setup you unit everytime your ignition is off) plug in the harness to the ISO harness (like he does) plu in the aeriel adaptor and test your unit (not to forget remove thos transport screws if fitted) store a station or two, then switch off you ignition, close doors wait 30 secs (so the car shuts down fully) open the car doors from your key turn ignition on and see if memory has stored the stations, if so your all set switch ignition off wat 30 secs, then push all the wires to the back of the dash making sure none will get pinched or trapped when the unit is inserted into the dash and inseert CD player. all done!!!!0 -
Wouldn't mind one myself, not sure what the sound quality's like and whether that's been compromised for all the features. I've got the first Alpine with the colour screen for iPod - XDA-001 I think.
Just because you said CD player in your first post OP - you do realise this thing doesnt' actually have a CD player?!0 -
FYI, you can pick up the adaptor harnesses on Ebay for a few £..... No excuse to start twisting wires together with a bit of insulation tape lol (my ex's dad did this for his entire garage lighting)“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

With the newer corsa you have to do some physical wiring or it won't work as demonstrated on the video link.0

All of a sudden that £5 or £10 saved doesn't look that much of a bargain.0
