Slow dispatch due to only posting on a friday.

I recently bought something off ebay without reading the small print. I won and paid for the item on sunday. It wasn't until today I looked at the listing again and it says they can only post on a Friday due to work commitments and not to leave bad feedback for dispatch time.

Surely wouldn't it have been a better idea to make sure their listings end on a Wednesday or a Thursday? Then at least they can post the item quicker.

When I receive the item (prob next Mon/Tues as second class is the only postage option, what star rating should I give? I was thinking 3, or is that too mean?

It is unfair to blame the seller because you didn't read the small print. If the listing said dispatches only on Fridays then that information was available to you before bidding. If the item is postmarked Friday then it is within the stated time frame.

Personally I don't try to hide any terms away in small print. If I had this in my listing it would be at a similar font size to the rest of the information
It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type

So long as you receive the item within the time stated by them, I think 5 stars would be in order. You accepted, when you ordered the item, that it wouldn't be posted until Friday. You can't hold that against the seller.

If the seller ended all the auctions on a Wednesday or Thursday, then buyers who didn't pay immediately would be waiting ages for delivery.

If they have in their listing that they can only post on Friday, then you shouldn't mark them down.
    What'e the estimated delivery time?
