McAfee Renewal help

I currently have McAfee 3 user internet security on my PC which runs out on 16th March.

I logged on today and have seen they are selling their Total protection product for £29.99 which saves me £35.

If I buy this now will it wipe out my subscription to the other or start working when my subscription ends on 16th March?

no it shouldn't but I (as many others will) say do you need to spend £30 where you can get antivirus protection for free from Microsoft security essentials or from avast, which will likely give you better protection?

yes very, avast (what I use) get updates 2 or 3 times a day for the latest malware.

I just looked and if you were die hard on macafee there is no reason to go for total protection or internet security over the 'antivirus plus' option.

yes. and offer better protection then mcafee..

if you have barclays bank account (or know someone that does) you can get free license for kaspersky.

other wise would go for the avast.

if I didn't use the free antivirus', kaspersky is the only one I personally would pay for.

Do you think I should let my Mcafee run out first or get it now?

I might need help changing over though as can't remember if I need to install the new one first or remove mcafee before I download.

It is well rated. It is free and gives you three licenses.

People will always have their favourites and "mine is better than yours".

I use dto have it. I swapped to Avast a year or two back as I found it much faster. I believe the most recent Kaspersky is faster than the one I had.

Been using Kaspersky for several years and can highly recommend it, download and save to desktop or documents, then remove McAfee using the removal tool and then run and install Kaspersky.
