We sold our house (STC, etc) over a month ago. Since then, we've had 3 other EAs write to us, desperate to get us to switch to them. One acknowledged that we had a buyer lined up, but reckoned they could get us a better price - how ethical...0

So would you accept a sliding scale in the other direction - i.e. the longer the property stays on the market, the more you pay the EA?
The flipside to your proposition is that by facilitating a sale in no time, with no marketing and little inconvenience for the owner (in a market where many others have their houses on the market for six months, possibly more) the EA should be rewarded with a higher fee......0 -
We get these regularly, they range from printed flyers from EAs, personally addressed letters from EAs, hand delivered letters from a new Estate Agency relocating from London complete with the Director's business card and mobile number to ring any time day or night and his home number. We have had enquiries direct from potential buyers too, hand written letters.
Should be interesting when we do actually want to sell!A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0
