There was a flyer in mu Good Food magazine that came today with an offer for one of these of £139.95. It only seems available to purchase through thechnologyinthehome.com and I cant seem to find any proper reviews.

I just wondered if anyone had this particular one and could say if it's good or bad or a better one I should be looking at.
Never had a dehumidifier but getting fed up of the clearing the water from the windows every morning.
Many thanks

I used to repair industrial desiccant dehumidifiers. They did work well and pulled the humidity down a lot lower then a normal refridgeration type dehumidifier. The only drawback was the cost of running them has the heater needs to be on all the time when it is operating to dry out the desiccant ready to collect more moisture. You need to find out what the running cost is and then compare it with a normal type dehumidifier. On the industrial ones the heated air went outdoors containing the moisture it had collected. This one looks like it deposits the water into a tank and then recycles the heated air.0

Hi kathleen
I have one of these. I use it everyday around the house and it is brilliant. Amazing how much water it takes in:j
I highly recommend it . It seems to be out of stock everywhere at the moment, but I have just this minute pre ordered one for my mother. Due 17th December.
I am so pleased I bought one as we get a lot of condensation all over the house and it also ruined my previous conservatory blinds.
I don't think you would be disappointed if you bought one!:T0
