A few auction websites to look at as i don`t know what area you live look at results and that gives you an idea of prices paid,i would also go to a local property auction just to get a feel for things first.https://www.barnardmarcusauctions.co.uk https://www.allsop.co.uk https://www.grahampenny.co.uk i find most repo property ends up in auctions.

I no off 1 local repo .An ex council house it was on the market for £99,000
It was in the paper they had been offered £125,000 .

Everything here now goes over the asking price .
  • remax are advertising a repo in my area at the mo. didnt know it was repo till i got to the viewing but it was offers over 96k which is about normal for this area.

it was awful. at least 20k work needing done and the layout etc was just awful. no room for more than a bed in the bedrooms, whole bathroom needed ripped out. lounge no bigger than most family bathrooms.

EA thought it would fetch 100k. i think he is having a laugh but someone will think there is development potential in it i am sure.

like everyone has said, way up work against cheaper price. you prob wont be able to secure further funds for the work.
