Flights from north west to edinburgh?

Hi, i'm new to the site and looking for flights for 2 adults from any north west airport to edinburgh leaving this Sunday 4th, returning tuesday 6th?

I've checked BA but the cheapest they can do it is £312.

the cheapest train I can find is £182.00?

bus? tried national express website...was coming up with £52 for two on the overnight bus.

edit tried another option during day....was still coming up £52 for 2
manchester - edinburgh 9 hours no changes.


what about just driving?

hello again, thanks for your replies - I'm booking it for colleagues attending a training course up there so bus wouldn't really be an option. Driving, however, might be.

we used to drive to north west from here in around 4 hours or so.

BMI are still not cheap but cheaper than BA - depends on the times you want but fares from Manchester on those days are £168.80 to £247.80
