I purchased an item for my husband for xmas on 30th November from this website https://www.bikeinn.com. Stupid me didn't realise they were based in Spain until after I purchased but hey ho. I can't find any reviews for the site at all but I'm now really worried.

I paid £130 via paypal with my visa debit card for this item. It stated it would be despatched within 2 working days and delivery I paid extra for was via DPD and on the checkout it said it would be 4 working days. It said i would receive an email confirming my order which I did, and another email when the item was despatched with a link to tracking the item through DPD, which I have not yet received.

They took the money via paypal on 30th, but when I log into my account to check the status of my order it just states 30th Nov, invoiced and ready for despatch, it has not been updated since.

Now as this is for a xmas present and it's coming by road from Spain I'm getting anxious. I have contacted them twice through their contact us part on the website asking for confirmation of despatch and have had nothing back. I've opened a case in paypal today. I appreciate that I won't get delivery this quick but I'm concerned at the lack of response to my queries and the fact that the status of my order has not been updated since I ordered and the item hasn't been sent within the timeframe stated on checkout.

Can anyone offer me any reassurance?, can anyone advise how you escalate a claim in paypal?
