EXPIRED Whisky worth 300 for 50 tomorrow

If you read the link, it's questionable that the whiskey is "worth" £300. It's not something you can buy anywhere else - no true price comparison available. It's from an unknown distillery.
If you want to buy someone a lovely whiskey, get them a bottle of Lagavulin 16 Year Old. Bottle costs about £40 and it's one that people genuinely rate well.0 -
I thought you could not sell alcohol on ebay?psstoverere wrote: »You can sell it if you list it as a collectable
You need to hope that your local licensing authority and police force don't look at ebay too - otherwise without licences (personal licence and a premises licence) it's up to six months in prison and up to £20000 fine for the illegal sale (the same penalty applies to exposing it for sale as well so you can end up in trouble for just placing the listing!).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Won't be there for long. Alcohol not allowed on eBayhappylilly wrote: »As far as I know Glenbridge is Aldi's own brand whiskey.
If they only release these tomorrow, how come one is already on sale on eBay with a starting price of £50?

Not necessarily. You can sell if it is a collectible like this :http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/spencerfield_spirit_company/m.html?hash=item1c20f9eeef&item=120812334831&pt=UK_Collectables_Bottle_Pots_ET&_trksid=p4340.l2562
Not sure if Aldi's own brand whisky counts as a collectible though

they said the last lot didnt have a label on it so people might not have been able to sell it even as a collectable.0

Overpriced and overhyped. There are some excellent Whiskys in the supermarkets at the moment at great prices.
Only for the rich and stupid - enjoy!0 -
