A few days ago i booked my christmas slot to have my groceries delivered but today i am trying to book a slot for my groceries to be delivered on Friday but i can find out how. It keeps directing me to the slot i booked on the 22nd.
Is it possible to book 2 deliveries on the Asda website? I cant say i will be very impressed if i have to cancel my christmas slot.

Hi,
I'm on Asda.com and tried to book my Christmas slot too.
As for booking two separate deliveries, I don't know sorry.
When I tried yesterday to book one Christmas delivery on Asda, it only gave me the usual three hours to checkout.
How do you book so far ahead?
If I book my Christmas slot today, for example Wednesday 21st December, I assume that you need to check out completely *today*. Is that correct?
Many Thanks.0 -

Yes, you do have to checkout completely or you will lose your slot though you wont get charged until you get your delivery obviously. I just bunged a couple of bottles of vodka, or anything really to take me over the £25 and took it through the checkout. Like i said before, i wont get charged for it till after my delivery. I shall alter my order obviously a bit nearer the time.
I notice that there are no slots available from the 23rd until well after christmas in my area so i would book up as soon as you can because even the 8 hours slots are full.
I still cant order another delivery and i'll be damned if i am going to set up another account. I'll use my Tesco account if i have to but more fool them for losing my custom! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. i have done this with tescos and have just had a quick look on asda website and it looks to be the same, so:
if you log in to the groceries sight there is a "book your slot" bit on the right hand side. click on that and it will take you to the section to choose your delivery date, then just fill your basket and check out as usual. it shouldn't affect your other scheduled delivery as you haven't gone into that delivery at all. i've done this several times on tesco and it's always worked fine.
DO NOT go into your scheduled christmas order and then go to the delivery dates section, this will change your christmas order delivery date!!
btw if anyone hasn't organised their christmas delivery, get onto it quickly as there weren't many left when i booked mine.:j:)

Just to let you know ive sorted it. If you have been browsing your christmas order you will need to go through checkout again before you can book another slot.

Just a little tip for those booking Xmas delivery slots. I have booked a slot for 19 December, and there are still some slots on both sites up to Wednesday 21st. However, be aware that they will often substitute, particularly nearer to christmas, ( this has happened to me in the past) and you might find you will not get exactly everything you ordered. Perishables will keep and even fruit and veg if stored in a cool place in the house will be fine for 7-10 days usually. If you need something that is not delivered, you either go without, or book your delivery early enough and you should get most items or at least have time to get something that wasn't delivered. Hope that's of use!0

having your items substituted isn't always a bad thing - if you've ordered the value/basic line - the substitution is generally the next step up!! what is more annoying is when they don't substitute (saying nothing similar available) and you know it's because it would cost them too much profit. mr t did this to me three weeks in a row recently, on the third occasion i went to the store that sends the delivery and filled a trolley with items that would have been suitable for substituting for my missing items, i then took the trolley to the cs and asked to see the home shopping mgr. needless to say i ended up getting the substitutions at the price i would have paid for the original items i ordered!! worth doing as i had run out of some of the items that they didn't deliver, so actually had to go to the shops to get them anyway. the next week, they substituted my unavailable items properly - result!!!!0
