Firstly I would like to thank all the people that have helped me. Thank you so much. But know i must call on youur skills again.
I have obtained all of the account numbers, and debt collection agencies address but can not find a sample letter that i can modify to send to them.
Please can somebody help me, or at least point me in the right direction as to what im am going to say to them?

Hi, as a few of us have said before, the citizens advice is your best bet. You can go and meet with them, and they will have sample letters and be able to help you. Most towns or cities have a local office, so you need to check the phone book, or ring directory enquiries, call your council and ask, etc. They will be able to help you. Just give them a ring and ask if you can make an appointment to see someone (its completely free) or ask when they have drop-in sessions. Its usually pretty busy and the drop in sessions, are just a load of people in a room waiting for someone to help them. It is well worth it, and you should be on your way to getting some help.

Just state the facts as clearly as possible.
Tell them the entries are nothing to do with you. Explain you suspect it may have come about from a shared mailbox, ask them to investigate, wipe the debt and clear your credit history.0 -
Thanks reaper much apperiate ill format a letter and post it up here!0

I don't think you need to. As long as it has the pertinent facts in they aren't going to care much how well its written. Just send it off asap and get it sorted.0

If you have any additional information that can help show that you do not owe the money or that someone else is responsible it might be best to include that too. I would send everything to a) the original lender b) the debt collectors and c) the credit reference agencies. If you can keep the letter as short and to the point as you can and include supporting information separately it makes it easier to deal with and might speed the process.0

what do you mean additional information?0

If you have information that can show that they are obviously not your debts, I don't actually know your circumstances but lets say it was a previous tenant where you live who owes money. You would want to provide writen evidence of when you took up residence and point out if the debts accumulated before that date. If you were being confused with a neighbour who shared the same name as you then getting copies of electoral roll information might help prove that.0
