I thought i'd mention this as I like to read the stories of the monthly featured powersellers, however millionsofttoys has been there since November!......I thought there was a new one every month?

I also like to see how Powersellers have developed their businesses - good reading and full of good advice. I've missed their "monthly updates" too.

I always like to read these as well. Its a shame when they dont update the pages, its not like there arent any powersellers out there. Perhaps they are all too busy :-)

Thats no excuse with ebays profits, its more like they can't be bothered

I bet that powerseller whos there now and has been for a few months is loving the exposure!

well i don't know how they work it (I thought i did but obviously i don't), but I was invited to be powerseller a couple of months past, accepted as i thought it could be a good idea, have done nothing different, but received intimidating kind of e-mail a few days ago saying i could be wiped off as a powerseller unless i did x amount of sales or y value - but the e-mail didn't put anything sensible in those spaces! so i am left knowing not at all what i need to do.:eek:

To be honest i don't really care - i think buyers are more interested in your service record than if you are powerseller, and i would rather peeps buy because they know they wil get a good product and service:j which is what i try to provide.
I am thinking to remove powerseller logo from my web site while it is stil my decision - any htoughts peeps?

Youre invited to be a powerseller if you sell over 100 items per month for 3 months ( 300 items min av ) or take £750 in revenue each month over 3 months average. If you dont meet the requirements they send you a pull your socks up email, in order to get you to sell more.

Its only worth being a powerseller if youre gold or above ( min £6,000 per month over 3 months ( £18k in 3 months or 1000 sold items per month ( 3000 )) cus then you get phone support !!

The phone support is great. There are so many problems that you pick up with ebay when you use it a lot and being able to phone someone is the best. At work our ebay account manager is on first name terms with me as I have to ring her so much.:rotfl:

I did become a Powerseller this month, but by the looks of this thread there are a number of other Powersellers. It looks like you can write about your selling sucesses and then you get published. There doesn't seem to be a round of emails asking you to write for them.

I wondered a few times whether (as has been said before) it would be worth my while spending an hour or so explaining how we became one and getting a load of free publicity.... The only problem being, how can I write about "luck, luck, luck" in different ways to sound good

Normally publicity is good, but a few months ago a Powerseller of the Month was targetted by some idiots in the Ebay forum and they wrecked his listings, Ebay are finding it hard to get volunteers for this. Also if you are doing well it is best not to publicise it too much, just think about the thousands of people looking for things to sell at a profit, they see someone is doing well so try and copy them, watch out for a lot more shoesellers now !!
